I am a collaborative and analytical team member experienced in leading creative work through multiple workflows and cross-functional teams. I am passionate about developing creative strategies with an eye for execution through the championing of people and processes. I give shape to ideas and tell stories to delight, inform, and enrich through design, illustration, photo, and video.

Effective creative work is not magic. It is the focused effort through processes continually engaged in inquiry. Creative work invites others with diverse skills and experience to join in the exploration. Strategic design activates brands — creating the symbols and calls to action that inform the brand experience of the consumers. Storytelling aligns the shared narratives and values between brands and audiences. My goal is to work at the intersection of culture and commerce, knowledge and expression. Leveraging 15+ years of experience and expertise to solve problems, create enriching experiences, drive messages, engage audiences, and propel growth.

In-house senior graphic designer for international consumer power tool brands including RYOBI, RIDGID, HART, HOMELITE, and YAMAHA.

Collaborated with the photography team, as art director. Assisted in planning, problem-solving, and creative feedback throughout the entire product photoshoot process to create dynamic images for consumer products. 

Developed branding solutions and articulated design considerations while considering the final execution of deliverables across channels. Brainstormed national campaigns to further drive growth.

Led efforts to improve and streamline creative and production processes in a high-growth business making dozens of new consumer products a year.

Created album artwork, and apparel merchandise design and illustration for both signed and independent music artists and bands.

Lead artistic direction and design strategy according to client’s unique needs and budget.

Embraced restraints and limitations as creative challenges.

Wrote music reviews for aggressive new music review site. Pursued continued learning and skill development through non-degree-seeking classes.
